Things To Do in Edinburgh in July 2022

29th Jun 2022

It’s the peak of summer! There are loads of exciting things to do in Edinburgh in July 2022, from climbing one of Edinburgh’s hills to a unique tour and gin tasting experience.

Climb Calton Hill

Calton Hill is one of Edinburgh’s seven hills and a favourite of locals and tourists. It has incredible views of the city’s landmarks and is located only a short walk from Princes Street. The National Monument, inspired by the Parthenon in Athens, is one of the historic monuments on the hilltop. The uncompleted monument was built to commemorate Scottish servicemen who died during the Napoleonic Wars. The Nelson Monument and City Observatory are also at the top of Calton Hill.
