Step Back into Christmas Past
The attraction’s Scotland’s Yuletide Past tours will run from Sunday 18th December – Thursday 22nd December at 5:15pm. Join a Victorian tour guide and travel back in time on the narrow underground closes and delve into the traditions of winters past. From the myths of festive faeries and spirits to how Christmas celebrations evolved into the cherished traditions of today, this tour offers a unique insight into how Scots celebrated (or perhaps didn’t celebrate) this festive time of year.
Admission includes a pre-tour mulled wine and mince pie in The Royal Exchange Coffee House (served from 4:30pm) Open throughout the Christmas period*, guests can complement their visit with a stop off in the attraction’s seasonally dressed café. The Royal Exchange Coffee House is the place to warm up with a luxury latte or hot chocolate and enjoy traditional café favourites with a seasonal twist.
