Throughout December we are running ‘Christmas on the Closes’ tours. Come along with your family and friends to find out what a traditional Christmas would have been like on the Edinburgh Closes from the 1500s – 1900s; learn interesting facts about the festive period in Scotland and discover why Hogmanay (New Year) is so important to us Scots? The tours also make a fantastic start to a Christmas social occasion. All tickets include a glass of mulled wine and a festive mince pie!
In a new twist for 2008, the tour will take place on a wintery white Mary King's Close.
Christmas On The Closes Tours run on the following dates in 2008:
Saturday December 6th & Sunday December 7th
Saturday December 13th - Sunday December 21st inclusive
Times - Sunday - Friday - 3pm - 5pm (last tour)
Saturday - 6pm - 9pm (last tour)
