Throughout December we are running ‘Christmas on the Closes’ tours. Come along with your family and friends to find out what a traditional Christmas would have been like on the Edinburgh Closes from the 1500s – 1900s; learn interesting facts about the festive period in Scotland and discover why Hogmanay (New Year) is so important to us Scots? The tours also make a fantastic start to a Christmas social occasion! All tickets include a glass of mulled wine and a festive mince pie!
Christmas On The Closes Tours run on the following dates in 2007:
Saturday December 8th, Sunday December 9th, Saturday December 15th, Sunday December 16th, Monday December 17th, Tuesday December 18th, Wednesday December 19th, Thursday December 20th, Friday December 21st, Saturday December 22nd, Sunday December 23rd.
Times - Sunday - Friday - 3pm - 4.20pm (last tour)
Saturday - 6pm - 9pm (last tour)
