Winter Hours
From November until March, we offer private evening hire of the Close – this is when we can really get creative with your event! Perhaps it will be an evening of mystical storytelling of Edinburgh in days gone by or perhaps you might want to get to grips with the more 'supernatural' residents of the Close. We can also offer drink and canapé receptions in our Burgh Courtroom (prices upon request).
Prices start from £12.50 per head and include a bottle of water per guest and a souvenir Real Mary King's Close guidebook.
In the past, our unique spaces and vaulted rooms have been used for music performances and art installations. Please get in touch no matter how unusual your request and we endeavour to make it happen!*
Private evening hire is only available from Sunday - Thursday from November 1st until March 31st.

Summer Hours
From April 1st to October 31st, The Real Mary King's Close is open from 10am until 9pm (last tour). If you would like to offer your guests something different, why not take one of our scheduled tours on a private basis** where your group will have the undivided attention of their very own tour guide.*Prices quoted on a case by case basis
